Okay, I assume you would know this, but there might


Be a piggy-back breaker, or sub-panel if the old panel wasn’t large enough for all the circuits during the rewire. Could be in a utility closet or behind a door in the garage. That could explain only a portion of the house being out. Other than that, I would say maybe one leg of your panel is bad for some reason and some of your circuits take power from that leg... and I would get an electrician in there for that.
